At Fat Pebble Limited (“We”), we take your privacy very seriously. We’re as annoyed by cold-calling marketing machines as the next person, so we want you to understand how we’ll use any information we collect from you in our applications (“Our Applications”) and why we’re collecting it. This policy (together with our terms of use and any other documents referred to on it) tries to set out how and why we collect data from you.

Information we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

 

- information provided by filling in forms in Our Applications

- records of any correspondence we enter into

- details of transactions you carry out through Our Applications

- in-game interactions, such as what level you get to, how many times you play a level etc.

- whether you have installed Our Applications on your device

 

Information collected and processed by third parties

While you’re using Our Applications, you may sign-up with a third party (e.g. platform operators, publishers etc.) who may provide services in connection with Our Applications. These third parties will then become the data controller for any data that they collect from you. We have no control over their terms and policies and can accept no responsibility for them. Please make sure you review their privacy policies in detail before continuing to use Our Applications.

 

Collecting information about your device

We may collect information about your device, including your device’s unique device ID, the type of mobile device you use, the operating system and the browser type. We use this information in several ways, for example to help us debug any errors or to provide us with statistical information which will help in future updates and new applications.

 

How we use the information we collect

We will use the information we collect to:

 

- improve Our Applications and make them more suited to our users

- make future applications more suited to our users

- to allow you to participate in interactive features of Our Applications

- to notify you about changes to Our Applications or our service

- to provide technical support

 

Where we store your personal data

Any data we collect from you will be stored on our own servers or on third party servers. We have taken all reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is kept in a secure manner, either through putting protection in place ourselves or by using reputable third party services. Just so you know, your data may be stored outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) and handled by staff operating outside the EEA.

 

Please keep any passwords you use safe and secure and don’t share them with anyone.

 

Unfortunately, transmitting over the internet is not always secure. We will do our best and take all reasonable steps to keep your data as safe as possible, but any data you transmit is done so at your own risk. Once we’ve received your data, we’ll use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

 

Who we give your data to

We may give the data you provide to selected third party companies to perform services for and on our behalf, including payment processing, data analysis, e-mail delivery, hosting services, customer service and to assist us in our marketing efforts. We won’t give this to just anyone, and please check the individual privacy policies of companies we partner with to make sure you’re comfortable with this.

 

We will never sell or rent an individual’s personal data. We may sell or rent anonymous statistical information (e.g. the number of men over 45 who’ve downloaded Our Applications, the number of downloads we’ve had in Timbuktu etc.) and we may provide this same anonymous information to advertisers. But we’d rather not.

 

Your rights

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually tell you beforehand if we intend to use your data in this way and you will normally be able to check or uncheck certain boxes to opt out at this point. However, you can also opt out at any time by sending an email to admin@fatpebble.com.

 

We aren’t responsible for the privacy policies of any third party applications or websites that we link to in Our Applications, so please make sure you read up on these.

 

Access to information

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you, so please let us know if you want this information. We may charge a fee of £10 to cover our costs in providing you with the data.
