We’re very happy to announce that Fat Pebble is partnering with Zynga to bring Clay Jam to their new mobile platform as one of the launch titles.

What this means for you is that not only do you get our famed clay wobbling skills (and of course a great game), with Zynga’s help you’ll also get a whole host of funky social features and we’ll be able to get Clay Jam out there to as many people as possible.

It may well seem that things have been a bit quiet on the website for a while. We’d like to assure you that Clay Jam is very much still alive and kicking and that we’ve been incredibly busy working day and night on it. The reason behind the delay is simple: we want to make it the best game we possibly can and cram it full of squishy clay goodness.

In the meantime, an update: our final, not-to-be-broken-ever-ever-cross-our-hearts-and-hope-to-die deadline is going to be late summer of this year!

Well, we said Clay Jam would be ready in February. It turns out we’re fibbers. Unfortunately February has just come to an end and even with the extra day we got this year, we’re a bit behind schedule.

So we’ve come to a decision. Rather than rush things and trying to cram it all in as quickly as possible, we’re going to delay the release of Clay Jam. We want to make sure it’s the best looking, best playing, best sounding game we can possibly make. To that end, we’re going to spend another month or two making the clay world come to life, adding features and polishing until it’s all buff and shiny. We just thought you might like to know, in case you were waiting with baited breath for some squashy clay action.

We will of course keep you up to date with how things are going, and carry on releasing a few teasers along the way to whet your appetite. As soon as we have a definite release date, we’ll let you know. Rest assured it will be in the next few months, and it’ll be marvellous! Honest.
